Terms of Service
The agreement for using Groow, in plain language where we can.
Effective October 10, 2026
Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Groow LLC ("Groow", "we"), a Montana limited liability company, and cover groowgroup.com and the Groow app at app.groowgroup.com (the "Service"). By creating an account, signing an order or using the Service, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for a company, you agree for that company and confirm you're allowed to.
Groow is a business service. If you sign an order or proposal with us, it applies alongside these terms, and it wins if they conflict.
Please read Disclaimer, Limitation of liability and Disputes closely. They limit what Groow is responsible for, and require disputes to be resolved individually by arbitration instead of in court or a class action, unless you opt out.
The Service
Groow tracks how AI assistants talk about a business, recommends what to change, and offers tools and, on some plans, done-for-you work for local listings, links, content and social posts. Features depend on your plan, as described on our pricing pages or in your order. We may change, add or remove features over time; we won't remove a core feature of a paid plan during a paid term without notice.
Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
- Give accurate information, keep your sign-in secure, and tell us promptly if you think your account has been misused.
- You're responsible for everything that happens in your workspace, including what people you invite do.
- One free trial per person and business. Creating extra accounts to get more trials isn't allowed.
Free plans, trials and beta features
Free plans, trials and features we label beta or preview are offered as they are, may have lower limits, and may be changed, limited or ended at any time without notice. Our liability for them is limited as described below.
Your content and connected accounts
You own the information you put into Groow and the accounts you share with us. You give us permission to use it to provide and support the Service. You confirm you have the right to share it, including any account access and logos.
When you give Groow access to an account (such as a Google Business Profile or a Facebook Page), we use it only for the purposes shown in the app, and you can remove our access at any time from that account. Posts, outreach emails and link orders go out only after you approve them, and you're responsible for what you approve.
Google, Meta, LinkedIn and other platforms set their own rules and may change, limit, suspend or remove listings, pages, posts or accounts at their discretion. We aren't responsible for their decisions.
AI features, data and results
AI assistants change their answers often, and the same question can get different answers. Groow's scores, answers, reports and other data are estimates from samples and third-party sources, and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Recommendations, drafts and other content written with AI can also be wrong: review them before you use them.
We don't control AI platforms, search engines or other websites, and we don't promise any ranking, mention, recommendation, traffic, lead, sale or other result. You're responsible for the decisions you make using the Service.
Done-for-you work, links and outreach
Where your plan includes work by our team, we do it with your approval and in line with the rules of the platforms involved. We don't buy reviews, create fake listings or use other deceptive practices. Links and placements depend on third-party websites, which we don't control, and aren't guaranteed to be published or kept in place.
Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to:
- Break the law or anyone's rights, mislead people, or send spam.
- Upload malware, or try to break, overload, probe or get around the Service's security or limits.
- Copy, scrape, resell or reverse engineer the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
- Act for a business you're not authorized to act for.
- Share an account with people outside your organization.
We may suspend or end access that breaks these rules or puts the Service or others at risk.
Fees, renewal and refunds
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the price on our pricing page or in your order, by card through our payment processor or by invoice.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period, and we'll charge your payment method at the start of each period, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the Groow app or by emailing us; cancelling stops the next renewal.
- All fees are non-refundable, including for partial periods, unused features and downgrades, except where the law requires a refund.
- Prices don't include taxes, which you pay where they apply.
- If a payment fails or is late, we may pause or end the Service until it's paid.
- We'll give at least 30 days' notice before a price change takes effect on your renewal.
- Plans include usage limits (such as questions tracked and AI answers); we'll tell you if you reach them.
Cancelling and ending
After you cancel, a paid plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. We may suspend or end your account at any time if you break these terms, don't pay, or create a risk for the Service or others, and may end free accounts at any time. When an account ends, you can ask us for a copy of your data within 30 days; after that we delete it as described in our Privacy Policy.
Confidentiality
We treat your non-public business information as confidential and use it only to provide the Service. You'll do the same for any non-public information about Groow, such as pricing in a proposal.
Other services
The Service works with services we don't control, such as AI platforms, Google, Meta and LinkedIn. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we aren't responsible for their availability, content or actions.
Groow's intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and reports, belongs to Groow. We give you a limited, non-transferable right to use it under these terms while your account is active. You may share reports made for your business. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.
Disclaimer
The Service, including all data, scores, reports, AI answers, recommendations and content, is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults. To the fullest extent the law allows, Groow disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement and accuracy, and any warranty arising from a course of dealing or usage of trade. Groow doesn't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free or accurate, that it will meet your needs, or that it will achieve any result. You use the Service, and rely on anything it shows, at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows: (a) Groow and its owners, employees, contractors and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, revenue, sales, customers, goodwill, reputation or data, business interruption, or cost of substitute services, however caused and even if told they were possible; (b) Groow will not be liable for anything done or not done by AI platforms, search engines, social networks, website owners or other third parties, including changes to their answers, rankings or rules, or their suspension or removal of your listings, pages or accounts; and (c) Groow's total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these terms will not exceed the greater of $50 or the fees you paid Groow for the Service in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $50 for free plans, trials and beta features. These limits apply to every kind of claim, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. They don't limit liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, such as for fraud or willful misconduct.
Indemnity
You'll defend, indemnify and hold harmless Groow and its owners, employees and contractors from any third-party claim, and the resulting losses, damages and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees), arising from your content, your use of the Service, the accounts and information you give us, work or posts you approve, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or anyone's rights.
Disputes: arbitration and class action waiver
- Talk to us first. Before starting a claim, email us a description of the dispute, and we'll both try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.
- Arbitration. If we can't, the dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, before one arbitrator, in Montana or by video. Judgment on the award can be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
- Exceptions. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court, or ask a court to stop misuse of its intellectual property or confidential information.
- No class actions. Claims may be brought only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated or representative proceeding, and the arbitrator can't combine claims of more than one party.
- Opting out. You can opt out of arbitration by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these terms. The class action waiver still applies.
- Time limit. Any claim relating to the Service must be brought within one year after it arises, or it's permanently barred.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Anything not resolved by arbitration will be heard only in the state or federal courts located in Montana, and we both agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll tell account owners at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms; if you don't, you can cancel before they take effect.
General
- If part of these terms can't be enforced, it will be enforced as far as the law allows, and the rest still applies.
- Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it.
- You can't transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of our business.
- Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as outages of providers we rely on.
- We'll send notices to the account owner's email; send notices to us by email.
- We're independent contractors, and these terms create no rights for anyone else.
- Sections that by their nature should continue after an account ends (such as fees owed, Disclaimer, Limitation of liability, Indemnity and Disputes) continue.
- These terms, with any order, are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
