The town page outline
Only make a page for a town you actually serve, and make each one a page you'd be happy for a customer there to read. Ten copies with the town name swapped are what Google's spam rules call doorway pages.
1. The first two lines
What you do there, in plain words: “We repair and replace furnaces and air conditioners in Ankeny, usually the same or next day.”
2. Jobs you've done there
Two or three real jobs: what it was, roughly when, and a photo you took. No stock photos. Leave out anything that identifies the customer's home unless they've said yes.
3. A local customer, in their words
One review from a customer in that town. Ask before you quote it on your site, and never offer anything in return for a review.
4. One local detail that's true
Drive time from your shop, the common house types, older systems you see a lot of, the permit rules. Something only someone who works there would know.
5. Who covers it, and when
The team or technician who covers the town, your hours, and whether you do emergency calls there.
6. Questions people there ask
Two or three short FAQs using the words people type. Answer each in two or three plain sentences.
7. How to reach you
Your one phone number and your real address (the same as on your Google Business Profile), and a clear next step.

- The same text with the town name swapped.
- Pages for towns you don't go to.
- “Near me” stuffed into the text. Google already knows where the searcher is.
- A fake address in a town you don't have an office in.
